Dua Lipa cried on stage in Shanghai after young fans waving rainbow flags were dragged from the venue by security

SINGER DUA LIPA has released a statement on Twitter following last night’s events in Shanghai.
When the singer was playing her second of two Chinese gigs, she noticed a number of fans in the audience being forcefully removed from the venue for standing up and waving rainbow flags at the event.
Footage of the incident has been doing the rounds on Twitter since last night. Fans can be heard screaming as a young girl is forcefully dragged from her seat by security guards.

Visibly upset, Dua Lipa addressed the audience and informed them that she would go on with the show for the rest of her fans, so as not to spoil the evening.
On her personal Twitter, Dua released a statement telling fans that next time she visits Shanghai, she wants to “see a room full of rainbows”.
She wrote:
